Laura L.A. Barbato is an award-winning American producer, director, screenwriter, and the owner of Twelve 83 Entertainment. She serves as both executive producer and producer of the horror/crime slasher "Bloodline Killer", starring Shawnee Smith, Taryn Manning, Tyrese Gibson, and Bruce Dern. Laura is also the writer and producer of the award-winning documentary "The States of Emergency: New York & New Jersey", and she is the award-winning writer and director behind the psychological anthology series "The Unorthodox Series". Laura is the creator and writer of the TV series "CHARLIE" and the "CHARLIE X" comic book, both set in the same world as crime/drama series based on actual events from her career as an undercover narcotics officer and sergeant for the New York City Police Department. Laura is a graduate of the New York Film Academy and an active member of the Writers Guild of America.
